At Innovation Midwifery and Child Health Practice (IMCHP), E-ISSN: 3063-1009 and P-ISSN: 3063-1017, we believe that the scientific value of a publication should not be defined by indexing status or citation metrics alone. Sustainable scholarly impact emerges from the combination of methodological rigor, originality, ethical integrity, clinical relevance, and meaningful contributions to maternal, midwifery, newborn, infant, and related health practices. While international indexing and bibliometric visibility remain important indicators of journal development, they should ultimately reflect—not replace—the quality and usefulness of the research itself. IMCHP therefore prioritizes manuscripts that advance theory, improve evidence-based practice, introduce contextually relevant innovations, strengthen health services, inform policy, or generate measurable benefits for women, mothers, newborns, infants, families, and healthcare professionals. We welcome researchers, clinicians, educators, practitioners, and interdisciplinary scholars who seek not merely to publish, but to produce evidence capable of improving health knowledge, professional practice, and societal outcomes.
