Verified Coverage Only

Innovation Midwifery and Child Health Practice (IMCHP) is committed to improving the discoverability, metadata quality, citability, and international visibility of its published research. This page distinguishes between verified indexing/discovery coverage, persistent scholarly identifiers and metadata infrastructure, and future indexing targets.

A database, index, repository, or preservation service is presented as active only when an IMCHP journal record, source record, deposited metadata, or other verifiable evidence is available. Listing a service as a future target does not imply current inclusion, accreditation, ranking, or acceptance.

Verified Scholarly Presence

IMCHP currently has a verifiable journal/source identity in OpenAlex, registered ISSNs, and DOI-bearing publications under the publisher's Crossref DOI infrastructure. These services perform different scholarly functions and are therefore presented separately below.

1. Verified Scholarly Discovery

OpenAlex
OpenAlex

IMCHP has a verified OpenAlex source record identifying the journal, its publisher, ISSNs, works, and subject coverage in Health Sciences.

Crossref DOI Infrastructure

Persistent DOI identification, citation linking, and metadata registration for IMCHP publications.

DOI Prefix: 10.69725
Article and issue DOIs are assigned through the journal's publication workflow.

Important Classification Note

ISSN registration and Crossref DOI registration are not themselves journal indexing services. They are essential scholarly identification and metadata infrastructures that support persistent citation, interoperability, discovery, and reliable journal identification. IMCHP therefore does not present an ISSN or DOI registration as equivalent to inclusion in Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, DOAJ, or another selective index.

3. Search Engine & Web Discoverability

IMCHP maintains openly accessible article landing pages, structured bibliographic metadata, DOI links, author information, abstracts, references, and full-text files through OJS. These features support harvesting and discovery by scholarly search engines and web-based academic discovery services.

Google Scholar Scholarly search/discovery service. Article discoverability may be verified through title or DOI searches. General Web Search OJS article metadata and DOI landing pages are openly crawlable for public discovery.

4. Indexing Development & Future Targets

IMCHP is developing its editorial quality, publication regularity, metadata, international authorship and reviewer network, citation visibility, ethical governance, and technical infrastructure to support future eligibility for additional national and international databases. The services below are presented as development targets only unless a verified active record is subsequently linked on this page.

Database / Service Function Public Status on This Page
DOAJ Open Access journal directory Target / verify before claiming
SINTA / ARJUNA Indonesian journal accreditation and research information Accreditation in process / verify record
GARUDA National scholarly discovery portal Verify active journal record
Dimensions / OpenAIRE / Scilit International discovery and aggregation services Verify before displaying as indexed
PubMed / MEDLINE Biomedical literature indexing Future eligibility target
Scopus Selective international abstract and citation database Future evaluation target
Web of Science Selective citation indexing platform Future evaluation target
Indexing Readiness

Quality Before Indexing Claims

IMCHP prioritizes consistent peer review, academic contribution, relevance to its stated aims and scope, publication regularity, readable English, publication ethics, international scholarly engagement, accurate metadata, DOI integrity, and stable online access. These elements strengthen indexing readiness but do not guarantee acceptance by any external indexing body.

Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed/MEDLINE, DOAJ, SINTA, and other databases independently determine eligibility and inclusion under their own current selection processes.

5. Understanding Scholarly Visibility

Category Purpose Examples
Identifiers & Metadata Persistent identification and bibliographic interoperability ISSN, DOI/Crossref
Discovery / Aggregation Helps researchers discover journal records and articles OpenAlex, scholarly search engines
Selective Indexing Database inclusion following external selection or evaluation Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed/MEDLINE, DOAJ
Digital Preservation Maintains long-term access if the primary publication platform fails Verified preservation services described in the Archiving Policy
Indexing Status Updates

This page should be updated whenever IMCHP receives a new verified journal/source record, accreditation decision, indexing acceptance, repository record, or other material change in scholarly coverage. Whenever possible, each active listing should link directly to the official IMCHP record rather than only to the database homepage.
