Immediate and Unrestricted Access

Innovation Midwifery and Child Health Practice (IMCHP) is a Gold Open Access scholarly journal. All published articles are made freely available online immediately upon publication, without subscription fees, paywalls, registration requirements, or embargo periods for readers.

Readers may access, read, download, share, and reuse published content in accordance with the applicable Creative Commons license. This model supports equitable access to evidence in midwifery, maternal health, newborn and infant health, reproductive health, nursing, health education, and related interdisciplinary health sciences.

Subject to the terms of CC BY-SA 4.0, users may:

• Share: copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
• Adapt: remix, transform, translate, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.
• Reuse: incorporate appropriately attributed content into teaching, research, reviews, policy documents, repositories, and derivative scholarly works.

• Attribution: appropriate credit must be provided to the author(s) and original publication.
• License Notice: users should provide a link to the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
• Indication of Changes: modifications, translations, adaptations, or other changes should be clearly indicated.
• ShareAlike: adaptations must be distributed under the same license or a license permitted by the Creative Commons terms.
• Reuse must not imply that the author, journal, editor, or publisher endorses the user or the user's adaptation.

Authors retain copyright and may share and disseminate their published work in accordance with the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. This includes distribution through personal academic websites, institutional repositories, scholarly networks, teaching materials, and other lawful channels.

• Authors may deposit the published article in an institutional or subject repository.
• Authors may share the article with students, collaborators, practitioners, and professional communities.
• Authors may reuse their work in future books, theses, reviews, teaching materials, or derivative works, subject to appropriate acknowledgment of the original publication and license terms.
• Where third-party material is included under a different permission or license, that material remains subject to its own terms.

IMCHP does not charge readers to access published articles. Access to the scholarly content is independent of whether an Article Processing Charge was paid by an author. Readers may lawfully reuse the work under CC BY-SA 4.0 without requesting separate permission for uses already covered by the license.

IMCHP may apply an Article Processing Charge (APC) after a manuscript has successfully completed editorial assessment and peer review and has received a formal acceptance decision. The APC supports publication services but does not purchase acceptance and does not influence editorial or reviewer decisions. Current APC information is stated separately on the journal's Article Processing Charge page.

IMCHP does not impose a reader-access embargo on published articles. The final published version is made openly available on the journal website when publication is completed.

Authors are encouraged to disseminate and archive their work responsibly. When depositing the published version, authors should preserve the article's bibliographic metadata, DOI, journal citation, copyright notice, and Creative Commons license information so that readers can identify and cite the version of record correctly.

IMCHP is committed to maintaining access to the scholarly record. The journal's active preservation arrangements, repository mechanisms, and continuity provisions are described in the separate Archiving Policy. Only preservation services actually implemented by the journal are represented as active preservation mechanisms.
