Applied Health Administration (APPHA)
APPHA implements a double-blind peer-review process: author and reviewer identities are concealed throughout the review cycle. The journal follows the COPE Ethical Guidelines for Peer Review and relevant ICMJE recommendations. Reviewers must declare competing interests, maintain confidentiality, provide objective evidence-based assessments, and uphold research integrity.

Note on Review Policy & Ethical Standards

The Applied Health Administration (APPHA) journal adheres to internationally recognized ethical guidelines in scholarly publishing, following the recommendations of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors), and WAME (World Association of Medical Editors).

  • Double-Blind Peer Review: Every manuscript is reviewed anonymously by at least two independent experts. Authors and reviewers remain blinded to ensure objectivity and impartiality.
  • Reviewer Selection: Reviewers are chosen based on academic expertise, research experience, and professional integrity. Diversity in institutional and geographical background is promoted.
  • Ethical Responsibility: Reviewers are expected to uphold strict confidentiality, avoid plagiarism, and provide constructive feedback that enhances scientific quality.
  • Conflict of Interest: Any potential conflicts (financial, institutional, or personal) must be declared and will result in reassignment of the manuscript.
  • Transparency & Fairness: All editorial decisions are evidence-based, free from bias, and guided by the best interests of scientific advancement and public health.
  • Accountability: The editorial office monitors adherence to ethical standards and investigates any suspected breaches of integrity, misconduct, or unethical reviewing practices.

By maintaining these rigorous standards, APPHA ensures that every published article contributes responsibly and ethically to global health administration science.

Editorial note. The reviewer roster is curated to reflect current expertise available to the journal. Inclusion does not imply an ongoing assignment; invitations depend on fit, availability, and conflicts of interest. The journal uses a double-blind process aligned with COPE and ICMJE guidance.
