Copyright and License for Applied Health Administration (APPHA)
All articles published in the Applied Health Administration (APPHA) journal are protected by copyright. Authors retain copyright to their works, and by submitting their manuscripts, they grant APPHA the right to publish their articles in an open-access format.
1. License
APPHA operates under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license. This license permits users to:
- Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
2. Conditions
Under the CC BY-SA license, users must adhere to the following conditions:
- Attribution: Appropriate credit must be given to the authors and the source of the material, including a link to the license.
- ShareAlike: If users remix, transform, or build upon the material, they must distribute their contributions under the same license as the original.
3. Copyright Ownership
Authors retain the copyright to their articles while granting APPHA the right to distribute the work under the CC BY-SA license. This ensures that the authors have the freedom to share their work and allows the community to benefit from the knowledge produced.
4. Commercial Use
The CC BY-SA license allows for commercial use of the articles, provided that proper attribution is given, and any adaptations are shared under the same license.
5. Withdrawal of Rights
Authors may withdraw their rights to their articles by submitting a written request to APPHA. Upon withdrawal, the article will no longer be available for publication under the CC BY-SA license, and the journal will take appropriate steps to remove it from the online platform.
