Sharia Economic Law Innovation (SELI) is firmly committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and discoverability of all articles published in the journal. Our comprehensive archive policy is designed to uphold scholarly integrity and support the global academic community by safeguarding the enduring availability of research outputs.

1. Digital Archiving

All published articles in SELI are digitally archived in perpetuity using trusted and reputable digital preservation services. These platforms employ advanced technologies to ensure the content’s integrity, authenticity, and sustained accessibility over time.

2. Open Access and Archiving Platforms

SELI adopts a full open access model, providing unrestricted, free access to all published works, thereby enhancing knowledge dissemination and fostering academic collaboration globally. In addition to our primary digital archives, SELI’s content is systematically archived and indexed on prominent national and international platforms, including:

  • Neliti — Indonesia’s trusted academic repository.
  • Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) — Indonesia’s integrated scholarly indexing service.
  • DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) — ensuring global visibility.
  • Crossref — for DOI registration and persistent linking.

3. Persistent Identifiers

Every article published in SELI is assigned a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) via Crossref. This persistent identifier guarantees consistent citation, referencing, and retrieval, enhancing the article’s traceability and long-term availability.

4. Compliance with Archiving Standards

SELI strictly follows international best practices and standards for digital archiving and preservation. Our archiving strategy aligns with recommendations from leading bodies such as the International DOI Foundation and Open Archival Information System (OAIS) standards to ensure data integrity and authenticity.

5. License for Archiving and Distribution

By publishing with SELI, authors grant the journal perpetual rights to archive, reproduce, and distribute their work digitally, under a Creative Commons license consistent with open access policies. This ensures that published research remains accessible for future generations and continues to contribute to the advancement of Islamic economic law scholarship.

6. Transparency and Accessibility

SELI maintains transparency in all archiving practices and provides clear information about access and preservation policies. We are committed to ensuring that authors, readers, and stakeholders can easily locate and retrieve archived content without restrictions.
