Article Processing Charge (APC) & Open Access Publication Fee Information

Free Submission Policy Manuscript submission to Advances in Public Law and Crime (PLICE) is free of charge. Authors are not required to pay any fee during initial submission, editorial screening, or peer-review evaluation. The publication fee applies only after the manuscript has been officially accepted for publication.
Important Withdrawal Policy Withdrawal of a manuscript after official acceptance or during final production may incur an administrative cancellation penalty of USD 100. This policy is applied to protect editorial, review, layout, DOI, and production resources already allocated to the accepted manuscript.

PLICE applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support essential publication services, including editorial administration, peer-review management, professional copyediting, layout and typesetting, DOI registration, metadata preparation, open access publication, and long-term digital archiving. As a Gold Open Access journal, PLICE ensures that published articles are freely available to readers without subscription barriers.
