Archive Policy
Archive Policy
Advances in Public Law and Crime (PLICE) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and availability of its published content. To achieve this, the journal has implemented the following archiving and preservation strategies:
1. Digital Archiving
All articles published in PLICE are digitally archived and preserved to guarantee the permanent availability of the scholarly content. We utilize trusted archiving systems and ensure that all content remains accessible to readers and researchers around the world.
2. Institutional Repositories
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit their published articles in their institution’s repositories or other trusted digital archives immediately upon publication, in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license. This guarantees that the research can be accessed and preserved in multiple locations.
3. National and International Archives
PLICE works to partner with recognized archiving services, including:
- LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): Ensures distributed archiving to ensure continuity in the case of system failures.
- CLOCKSS: Provides long-term preservation of scholarly content and ensures continued access to journal content even if the journal is no longer published.
4. Self-Archiving Policy
Authors are allowed to archive the accepted version of their manuscripts (pre-print or post-print) in any institutional or public repository of their choice, immediately upon publication without any embargo. This aligns with our commitment to open access and knowledge dissemination.
5. Indexing Services
PLICE is under submission to various indexing databases like DOAJ, Google Scholar, Sinta, and Scopus, where articles will be discoverable and preserved through these indexing services, ensuring a wide reach and permanent accessibility.
