Overview
Jurnal Inovasi Pajak Indonesia (JIPI) upholds a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the publication of high-quality, innovative, and impactful research in taxation. This guide outlines the roles, responsibilities, and ethical standards expected from our reviewers, who play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our scholarly record.
Reviewer Responsibilities
- Provide Constructive Feedback: Offer objective, clear, and specific critiques to help authors improve their manuscript.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Treat submitted manuscripts as strictly confidential documents. Do not discuss or share them.
- Identify Ethical Concerns: Immediately report any suspected plagiarism, data fabrication, or other unethical practices.
- Ensure Timely Review: Submit reviews within the agreed deadline (typically 3 weeks).
Ethical Standards
- Conflicts of Interest: Disclose any potential conflicts (financial, institutional, or personal) that may influence your evaluation.
- Fair & Unbiased: Reviews must be free from bias related to nationality, religious or political beliefs, gender, or other personal characteristics.
- Double-Blind Process: JIPI follows a double-blind review policy. Ensure your report does not inadvertently reveal your identity.
Evaluation Criteria
1. Originality
Does the manuscript present new insights, theories, or methodologies? Is the topic relevant and impactful?
2. Methodology
Are methods appropriate and well-explained? Is data analysis rigorous, transparent, and reproducible?
3. Clarity
Is the manuscript well-structured and logically organized? Are tables and figures relevant and clear?
4. Contribution
Does the study provide theoretical advancements or practical implications for policymakers?
