Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Inovasi Pajak Indonesia (JIPI) upholds the highest ethical standards in academic publishing and strictly prohibits plagiarism in any form. To ensure originality and academic integrity, the following plagiarism guidelines apply:

Plagiarism Screening
- All submitted manuscripts undergo a plagiarism check using Turnitin before being sent for peer review.
- The maximum similarity index allowed is 12%, excluding references and common phrases.
- Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to authors for revision or rejected outright.

Types of Plagiarism Considered Unacceptable
- Direct Plagiarism: Copying another author’s work without proper citation.
- Self-Plagiarism: Republishing substantial portions of one’s own previously published work without proper attribution.
- Paraphrasing Plagiarism: Rewriting another author’s work with minor changes while retaining the original idea without citation.
- Fabrication and Falsification: Misrepresenting data, sources, or findings.

Citation and Referencing Compliance
- All sources must be cited following APA 7th edition referencing guidelines.
- Authors must use Mendeley for reference management to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Consequences of Plagiarism
- Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism before publication will be rejected immediately.
- If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the article may be retracted, and the authors may be blacklisted from future submissions.
- Institutions and funding bodies may be notified in cases of severe ethical breaches.
By submitting a manuscript to JIPI, authors affirm that their work is original, properly cited, and free from any form of plagiarism.
