Author Guidelines
Advances in Management Innovation (AMI)
Advances in Management Innovation (AMI) adopts international best practices in scholarly publishing (aligned with major publishers such as Elsevier and Wiley, and indexing bodies like Scopus and Web of Science). Please follow the guidelines below to ensure efficient peer review and high production quality.
1. Manuscript Preparation
- Originality & Exclusivity: Manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under review elsewhere. Submissions should contribute substantially to management and innovation research.
- File Format & Layout: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), A4, margins 2.5 cm, double‑spaced, Times New Roman 12 pt, consistent style. Use Equation Editor/MathType for equations.
- Length: Research articles 6,000–8,000 words (incl. abstract, references, tables, figures); review articles up to 10,000 words; brief reports/case studies 3,000–4,500 words.
- Title Page: Title (≤15 words); author names, affiliations, emails, ORCID IDs; corresponding author with full postal address; short bios (≤100 words) for each author.
- Abstract & Keywords: Structured abstract (200–250 words) covering Purpose, Methodology/Approach, Findings, Implications, and Originality/Value; provide 4–6 keywords.
- Figures & Tables: Figures ≥300 dpi (JPEG/PNG); tables must be editable (not images), numbered, and accompanied by concise titles/notes; obtain permissions for third‑party content.
2. Manuscript Structure
- Introduction: Research problem, objectives, significance, novelty.
- Literature Review & Theoretical Framework: Comprehensive and critical synthesis of prior studies.
- Methodology: Design, sampling, data collection, measures, and analytical techniques.
- Results: Findings with appropriate statistics, tables, and figures.
- Discussion: Interpretation, comparison with literature, theoretical/managerial/policy implications.
- Conclusion: Key findings, contributions, limitations, and future research directions.
- References: APA 7th; include DOIs where available.
3. References
- Use APA (7th edition) for in‑text citations and reference list; ensure one‑to‑one match between citations and references.
- Prioritize recent and relevant sources (last 10 years), include seminal works as needed; add DOIs where available.
Example: Author, A. A., & Author, B. B. (Year). Title of the article. Journal Name, Volume(Issue), pages. https://doi.org/xx.xxxx/xxxxx
4. Submission Process
- Submit via the AMI online submission system.
- Upload: (i) anonymized manuscript, (ii) title page, (iii) ethical statement (if applicable), (iv) supplementary files (optional).
- Authors may suggest 2–3 potential reviewers (optional, with institutional emails).
5. Peer Review Policy
- Double‑blind peer review by at least two independent experts.
- Criteria: originality, methodological rigor, clarity, contribution, and fit with AMI scope.
6. Publication Ethics
- AMI follows COPE guidelines; plagiarism, data fabrication, image manipulation, and redundant publication are prohibited.
- Disclose conflicts of interest and funding sources within the manuscript.
7. Open Access & Licensing
- Gold Open Access: articles are freely accessible upon publication.
- Default license: CC BY 4.0 (unless otherwise stated by journal policy).
8. Data & Supplementary Materials
- Deposit datasets in trusted repositories (e.g., Zenodo, Figshare) and cite persistent identifiers.
- Upload supplementary files (appendices, instruments, additional tables/figures) separately.
