Copyright and License

All content published in Advances in Management Innovation (AMI) is protected under international copyright law. Authors retain the copyright to their work while granting the journal the non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, and archive the article in any format or medium, in accordance with the journal’s Open Access policy.

1) Copyright Retention

Authors retain full copyright of their manuscripts without restrictions. By submitting and publishing in AMI, authors agree that:

• The article is their original work, free of unlawful content, and does not infringe upon third-party rights.
• They grant AMI the right to publish the work in both print and digital formats.
• The work may be stored in repositories, archives, and databases for long-term preservation and indexing.

2) Licensing Terms (CC BY-SA 4.0)

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike 4.0 International license (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license allows:

• Sharing — copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format.
• Adapting — remixing, transforming, and building upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
• Mandatory attribution — giving appropriate credit, providing a link to the license, and indicating if changes were made.
• ShareAlike — distributing derivative works under the same license terms.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for any copyrighted materials used within their manuscript.

3) Compliance with International OA Standards

• DOAJ Criteria: Licensing terms, author rights, and self-archiving policies are fully transparent and clearly displayed.
• DORA Principles: Research is evaluated on its content quality, not journal-based metrics alone.
• Web of Science Readiness: Complete metadata, DOI registration, and licensing compliance ensure discoverability.
