Archive Policy
Archive Policy
Advances in Management Innovation (AMI) is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. Our archiving strategy complies with international digital preservation standards to ensure that all articles remain available, discoverable, and citable indefinitely, even in the event of the journal’s discontinuation or website changes.
1) Digital Preservation Systems
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): Automatic preservation for OJS journals via LOCKSS technology.
- LOCKSS & CLOCKSS: Distributed archiving system ensuring redundancy and authenticity of content.
- Internet Archive & Archive-It: Periodic snapshots of the journal website to guarantee historical record.
- Institutional Repositories: Authors are encouraged to deposit the published PDF and metadata in institutional or subject repositories.
2) Author Self-Archiving (Green Open Access)
AMI allows and encourages authors to self-archive the following versions of their manuscripts in institutional, subject-based, or personal repositories:
- Pre-print (Submitted version): The version submitted to the journal before peer review.
- Post-print (Accepted version): The peer-reviewed and accepted manuscript, prior to typesetting.
- Published version (Version of Record): The final PDF as published by AMI, under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license.
3) Open Metadata & Discoverability
All article metadata (titles, abstracts, author information, keywords, references, DOIs, and licensing details) is openly available via:
- OAI-PMH protocol for metadata harvesting.
- Crossref for DOI registration and metadata distribution.
- Indexing partners such as Google Scholar, BASE, DOAJ, and others.
4) Preservation & Continuity Commitment
In the unlikely event that AMI ceases publication, all content will remain permanently accessible via our preservation partners, ensuring that the scholarly record is maintained and remains accessible to the academic community worldwide.
Note: This archiving policy aligns with guidelines from DOAJ, SPARC, and COPE, ensuring compliance with international Open Access preservation standards.
