Archive Policy
Applied Health Promotion Science (AHPROCE)
AHPROCE is fully committed to the long-term integrity, discoverability, and preservation of all published content. This Archive Policy describes how we safeguard scholarly materials to ensure that articles remain permanently accessible for the global research community.
1. Digital Preservation
- LOCKSS / CLOCKSS: Participation in the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS global preservation networks ensures decentralized, redundant archiving of all content.
- PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): Provides additional safeguarding for OJS-hosted journals.
- Regular Backups: The journal performs secure, off-site backups of content and metadata to prevent loss in the event of system failure.
2. Long-Term Access
- Open Access Commitment: All published articles remain permanently available under our open access model (CC BY-SA 4.0).
- Persistent Identifiers: Each article is assigned a DOI via Crossref to ensure permanent linking, citation, and discoverability.
- Free & Global: Readers worldwide can access archived content without subscription or embargo.
3. Archival Repositories
The journal partners with reputable repositories to guarantee long-term archiving and visibility:
Neliti Archive: Indexed and preserved in Neliti’s open repository for Indonesian and international visibility.
Mendeley Data: Authors may deposit underlying datasets in Mendeley Data, linking data DOIs with article DOIs for reproducibility.
- Garuda (Indonesian National Index): Long-term storage in Indonesia’s national academic index, ensuring accessibility for local and regional scholars.
4. Retention of Records
- All submitted manuscripts, peer review reports, editorial decisions, and correspondence are securely retained for at least 5 years after publication.
- These records support transparency, audit trails, and ethical accountability in editorial processes.
5. Author Rights
Authors retain copyright of their work and are encouraged to deposit the final published version in:
- Institutional repositories
- Personal academic websites
- Disciplinary repositories (e.g., Mendeley Data, OSF)
6. Policy Review
This Archive Policy is reviewed annually to ensure alignment with evolving international digital preservation standards and best practices in scholarly publishing.
