Publication Process
Editorial Workflow Overview
Every manuscript submitted to Researcher Academy Innovation Data Analysis (RAIDA) undergoes a structured editorial screening and peer-review process to ensure academic quality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to data analysis, innovation, research methodology, and multidisciplinary scholarship. The entire process is managed through the OJS system to support transparency, traceability, and editorial accountability.
Step-by-Step Publication Stages
Submission & Administrative Pre-Check
Estimated duration: 1–7 daysAuthors submit the manuscript through the RAIDA OJS system. The editorial office performs an administrative pre-check to ensure that the submission is complete and follows basic journal requirements.
- Completeness of required files: blind manuscript, title page, cover letter, statement letter, and similarity report.
- Compliance with RAIDA article template and author guidelines.
- Correct metadata, authorship information, ORCID, affiliation, and contact details.
- Initial check for language quality and readability.
Submissions with incomplete files or incorrect format may be returned to the author before editorial screening.
Editorial Screening / Desk Review
Estimated duration: 1–2 weeksThe editor evaluates whether the manuscript fits RAIDA’s focus and scope and meets the minimum scientific, ethical, and methodological standards required for peer review.
- Scope relevance to data analysis, innovation, research methodology, or multidisciplinary studies.
- Originality, novelty, research contribution, and manuscript structure.
- Ethics statement, conflict of interest, funding, and AI-use declaration.
- Similarity or plagiarism screening according to RAIDA editorial policy.
Manuscripts failing this stage may be desk rejected or returned for technical correction.
Double-Blind Peer Review
Estimated duration: 4–8 weeksManuscripts that pass editorial screening are assigned to independent reviewers through a double-blind peer-review process. Author and reviewer identities are concealed from each other.
- Reviewers evaluate originality, methodology, data analysis, discussion, references, and contribution.
- Reviewers provide constructive comments and recommendations.
- Possible recommendations include accept, minor revision, major revision, resubmit for review, or reject.
Author Revision
Estimated duration: 2–4 weeksAuthors revise the manuscript based on reviewer and editor comments. A clear and complete response to reviewers is required.
- Submit revised manuscript with changes clearly indicated.
- Submit a response letter addressing every reviewer comment point-by-point.
- Major revisions may be sent for additional review before final decision.
Editorial Decision & Acceptance
Estimated duration: 1–2 weeksAfter revision evaluation, the editor makes the final decision based on reviewer feedback, author response, manuscript quality, ethical compliance, and contribution to the field.
- If accepted, the author receives formal acceptance notification.
- Article processing and publication production instructions are sent to the author.
- Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting and layout preparation.
Production, Proofreading & Online Publication
Estimated duration: 2–3 weeksThe accepted manuscript enters the production stage before being published online.
- Copyediting: Language, clarity, consistency, and reference checking.
- Layout: Formatting into the final RAIDA article format, including PDF galley preparation.
- Proofreading: Author checks and approves the final proof.
- Publishing: Article is published online with complete metadata and prepared for indexing and archiving.
