Copyright Policy

Researcher Academy Innovation Data Analysis (RAIDA) supports author rights and the broad dissemination of scholarly knowledge. RAIDA does not require authors to transfer copyright to the journal. Authors retain copyright while granting RAIDA the right to publish, distribute, preserve, and identify itself as the original publisher of the article.

Authors Retain Copyright

Authors who publish with RAIDA retain full copyright to their work. Authors grant RAIDA a non-exclusive license to publish the article, make it available online, preserve it digitally, and identify RAIDA as the original place of publication. This policy allows authors to maintain control over their intellectual property while ensuring global access and dissemination.

Unless otherwise stated, all articles published in RAIDA are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license supports open scholarly communication by allowing legal sharing, reuse, adaptation, translation, and distribution with proper attribution.

You are free to:
  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt: Remix, transform, translate, and build upon the material for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.

Rights and Responsibilities

Author Rights

Authors retain the following rights:

  • To reproduce, distribute, and share the article in any medium or format.
  • To deposit the article in institutional repositories, personal websites, academic networks, or subject repositories.
  • To present the work at conferences, seminars, workshops, and academic forums.
  • To reuse portions of the article in theses, dissertations, books, teaching materials, reports, or future scholarly works.
  • To grant further licenses to third parties, provided the original RAIDA publication is properly cited.

Journal Rights

RAIDA holds the following rights:

  • The right of first publication in electronic and/or print format.
  • To publish, disseminate, index, archive, and preserve the article in journal systems and scholarly databases.
  • To migrate article content to future formats for preservation and accessibility.
  • To maintain metadata, article records, and citation information for discoverability.
  • To require proper attribution and responsible reuse in accordance with the applicable license.

Author Responsibility for Copyrighted Materials

Authors are responsible for ensuring that all third-party materials included in the manuscript, including figures, tables, datasets, images, instruments, software, maps, illustrations, and long quotations, are properly cited and used with permission where required. Authors must ensure that reused materials comply with copyright law, license terms, ethical standards, privacy requirements, and data protection rules.

Self-Archiving Policy

RAIDA supports Green Open Access and self-archiving. Authors are encouraged to deposit their work in institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal websites, academic profiles, and learning platforms to increase visibility and impact.

When archiving, authors should provide a citation and link to the original publication on the RAIDA website using the DOI or official article URL where available.

Reuse and Attribution Guidance

Readers, researchers, educators, and other users may reuse RAIDA content according to the applicable Creative Commons license, provided that they:

  • Credit the author(s), article title, journal name, year, volume/issue, DOI, and official article URL where available.
  • Provide a link to the applicable Creative Commons license.
  • Indicate if changes, translations, or adaptations were made.
  • Respect privacy, ethical approvals, dataset restrictions, and third-party material permissions.
  • Distribute adapted works under the same or compatible license if required by CC BY-SA 4.0.
