IMPORTANT: LATEX SUBMISSION STANDARDS

To ensure a smooth production process, JEBI employs a Component-Based LaTeX Workflow. Please adhere to the following strict standards:

No 'Main.tex' Required: Authors must NOT submit a compilable main.tex or modify the jebi.cls file. The Editor will handle the final compilation using the official system.
Edit Components Only: Please strictly edit the provided components in the ZIP kit: config.tex (metadata), abstract.tex, and the sections/ folder.
Visual Assets: All figures must be high-resolution (min. 300 DPI) and named sequentially (e.g., figure1.png, figure2.jpg) in the figures/ folder.
Plagiarism Check (Mandatory): Since our plagiarism checker (Turnitin) works best with text documents, you are REQUIRED to upload a PDF or MS Word export of your manuscript alongside your LaTeX source files.

Required Submission Package (5 Items)

1. Cover Letter (DOCX/PDF) To Editor

Addressed to the Editor-in-Chief. Explains novelty, originality, and contribution to Economics & Business.

2. Article Manuscript (DOCX/TeX) Blind Review

The main article file must be fully anonymous. Do not include author names.
*For LaTeX users, submit the ZIP file of the source code AND a compiled PDF/Word for review.

3. Title Page & Metadata (DOCX/Config) Full Identity

Separate file containing Title, Abstract, and complete author profiles (ORCID, Affiliation, Email).

4. Statement Letter (PDF) Required

Includes CRediT roles, Conflict of Interest, AI Declaration, and Copyright Agreement.

5. Turnitin AI Report (PDF) Check

Upload the full Turnitin report.

⚠️ Important Note on AI Usage:
We acknowledge that modern digital advancements and AI tools are inevitable in streamlining academic work. However, JEBI strictly requires transparency. Authors using AI must explicitly declare how and for what purpose it was used in the Statement Letter. The Turnitin AI Score must not exceed 12%.

Pre-Submission Checklist

✔ 5 Files Ready: Cover Letter, Blind Manuscript, Title Page, Statement Letter, Turnitin Report.
✔ Anonymity: Main manuscript file has NO author names (Blind Review).
✔ Metadata: ORCID IDs included for all authors on the Title Page.
✔ Turnitin: AI Score is ≤ 12% and Similarity is < 20%.
✔ References: Minimum 20 references (80% primary/recent) formatted in APA 7th.
