Copyright Policy

Journal Economic Business Innovation (JEBI) advocates for the rights of authors and the broad dissemination of research. Unlike many traditional journals, JEBI does not require authors to transfer their copyright to the journal.

Authors Retain Copyright

Authors who publish with JEBI retain the full copyright to their work. They grant JEBI a non-exclusive license to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher. This model ensures that authors maintain control over their intellectual property while allowing the journal to disseminate the work globally.

Creative Commons License

All articles published in JEBI are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license allows others to:

Rights and Responsibilities

Author Rights

Authors retain the following rights:

To reproduce and distribute the article in any medium (e.g., printed course packs, personal websites).
To present the work at conferences and meetings.
To reuse portions of the article in future works (e.g., dissertations, books).
To grant further licenses to third parties, provided the original JEBI publication is cited.

Journal Rights

JEBI holds the following rights:

The right of first publication (print and electronic).
To index the article in international databases and repositories (e.g., Google Scholar, DOAJ, Crossref).
To migrate the content to future formats for digital preservation (e.g., LOCKSS, Portico).
To enforce the CC BY-SA 4.0 license on behalf of the author in case of misuse.

Self-Archiving Policy

JEBI supports the Green Open Access and self-archiving policies. Authors are encouraged to deposit their work in institutional or subject repositories to increase visibility.
