Open Access Statement
Advances Psychology Innovation (APSY) is a fully Gold Open Access scholarly journal committed to making all research articles and academic content freely accessible immediately upon publication. This policy ensures that authors’ work is visible, retrievable, and usable by researchers, practitioners, educators, policymakers, and the wider public without financial, subscription, or technical barriers.
Copyright and Licensing: Authors retain full copyright and grant APSY the right of first publication. All published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), which permits unrestricted sharing, adaptation, translation, and reuse, provided that proper attribution is given and derivative works are distributed under the same license.
This Open Access model supports rapid knowledge dissemination and increases the visibility, citation potential, and scholarly impact of published work. Immediate and free access enables global knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the translation of psychological research into educational, clinical, organizational, and social practice. Readers may freely access, download, share, and build upon the published work, thereby strengthening transparency, reproducibility, and trust in academic publishing.
APSY adheres to recognized international publishing standards and ethical principles, including the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the Elsevier Publishing Ethics Guidelines, and the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA). Compliance with these frameworks ensures transparency, accountability, proper attribution, and the long-term preservation of scholarly content.
Furthermore, APSY’s Open Access approach is aligned with major global initiatives and funder expectations, including Plan S and the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). This ensures that authors’ research remains ethically disseminated, globally accessible, and positioned for long-term academic and societal impact.
