Article Template
Download Official Templates
Choose the format that suits your workflow. Authors are required to use the official templates below.
Option A: MS Word Package (Standard)
Option B: LaTeX Kit (Advanced)
ISPE_LaTeX_Submission_Kit.zip
Contains: config.tex, sections/, figures/, and tables/ templates.
Component-based workflow for production-ready manuscripts.
Important: LaTeX Submission Standards
To ensure a smooth production process, ISPE employs a component-based LaTeX workflow. Please follow these standards:
- No “main.tex” required: Do not submit a standalone compilation file or modify the class file. The editorial office will handle final compilation.
- Edit components only: Update
config.tex(metadata),abstract.tex, and files insections/only. - Visual assets: Figures must be high-resolution (min. 300 DPI) and named sequentially (e.g.,
figure1.png,figure2.jpg). - Similarity report (mandatory): Upload a compiled PDF/Word export alongside LaTeX sources to support similarity and AI detection checks.
Required Submission Package (5 Items)
1. Cover Letter (DOCX/PDF) To Editor
Addressed to the Editor-in-Chief. Explain novelty, originality, and relevance to the aims and scope of ISPE.
2. Article Manuscript (DOCX/TeX) Blind Review
The main manuscript must be fully anonymous (no author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or self-identifying notes).
For LaTeX users: submit the ZIP source AND a compiled PDF/Word.
3. Title Page & Metadata (DOCX/Config) Full Identity
Separate file containing the title, abstract, keywords, and complete author profiles (ORCID, affiliation, email).
4. Statement Letter (PDF) Required
Includes CRediT roles, conflict of interest, funding, AI declaration, and copyright agreement.
5. Turnitin AI Report (PDF) Check
Upload the complete Turnitin report (similarity and AI writing indicator).
⚠️ Important Note on AI Usage:
ISPE requires transparency. If AI tools are used, authors must clearly declare how and for what purpose they were used in the Statement Letter. The Turnitin AI Score must not exceed 12%.
