Author Guidelines: Advances in Administration (AVITI)

Welcome to Advances in Administration (AVITI)

Thank you for considering Advances in Administration (AVITI) for the publication of your research. The following guidelines are designed to help you prepare and submit your manuscript. Please read these instructions carefully before submitting your work.

1. Scope and Focus

AVITI publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed research in various areas of administration, including but not limited to public administration, business administration, educational administration, health administration, nonprofit administration, international administration, and technology and innovation in administration.

2. Manuscript Types

We accept the following types of manuscripts:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Case Studies
  • Book Reviews
  • Short Communications
  • Letters to the Editor

3. Submission Requirements

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in English.
  • Formatting: Use a standard font (e.g., Times New Roman, 12-point) and double-spacing throughout the manuscript. All pages should be numbered consecutively.
  • Length: There are no strict word limits, but we recommend a maximum of 7,000 words for original research articles and 4,000 words for review articles.
  • Title Page: Include the following information:
    • Title of the manuscript
    • Full names, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors
    • Corresponding author clearly indicated

4. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract: Provide a concise summary of the manuscript, not exceeding 250 words.
  • Keywords: Include 3-5 keywords that accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.

5. Main Text Structure

  • Introduction: Outline the background, rationale, and objectives of the study.
  • Literature Review: Review relevant literature and identify gaps your research aims to fill.
  • Methodology: Describe the research design, data collection, and analysis methods.
  • Results: Present the findings of your research clearly and concisely.
  • Discussion: Interpret the results, highlighting their implications and limitations.
  • Conclusion: Summarize the main findings and suggest directions for future research.
  • References: Follow the APA (American Psychological Association) style for all citations and references.

6. Tables and Figures

  • Tables: Should be included at the end of the manuscript or in a separate file. Number tables consecutively and provide a descriptive title for each.
  • Figures: Should be high-quality and included at the end of the manuscript or in a separate file. Number figures consecutively and provide a descriptive caption for each.

7. Submission Process

  • Online Submission: Submit your manuscript through the journal’s online submission system [Insert Submission System Link].
  • Cover Letter Upload: Include a cover letter briefly explaining the significance of your research and confirming that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere. Provide the following information:
    • Name
    • Email
    • ORCID
    • Full Affiliation (not abbreviated)
    • Scopus ID (if available)
    • Scholar ID (if available)
  • Turnitin Report: Upload the results of a Turnitin plagiarism check. The maximum allowable similarity index is 12%.

8. Review Process

  • Peer Review: All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, clarity, and significance.
  • Decision: Based on reviewers’ feedback, the Editor-in-Chief will make a decision: accept, minor revisions, major revisions, or reject.

9. Post-Acceptance

  • Proofs: Authors will receive proofs for correction before publication. Corrections should be limited to typographical errors.
  • Publication: Accepted manuscripts will be published in the next available issue of AVITI. Articles are published online with open access.

10. Ethical Considerations

  • Originality: Authors must ensure that their work is original and has not been published or is not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Plagiarism: Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism. Submissions exceeding a plagiarism threshold of 12% will be rejected.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

11. Author Fees Policy

  • Free Submission: There are no submission or publication fees.

12. Reference Management

  • Reference Software: Authors must use Mendeley Desktop for managing and formatting references. Manuscripts not using Mendeley will be rejected.
