Author Guidelines for Advances in Fisheries and Oceans (AFO)

1. Manuscript Preparation:

  • Manuscripts should be prepared in English and submitted in MS Word format.
  • Ensure that the manuscript follows the journal’s formatting guidelines, including margins, fonts, and spacing.
  • Include a title page with the title of the manuscript, names and affiliations of all authors, corresponding author’s contact information, and any acknowledgments.

2. Structure of Manuscript:

  • Title: Clear and concise, reflecting the main theme of the manuscript.
  • Abstract: Provide a structured abstract (250-300 words) summarizing the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions of the study.
  • Keywords: Include 5-8 keywords that accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.

  • Materials and Methods: Describe the study design, methodology, and analytical techniques in sufficient detail to allow replication.

3. References:

  • Ensure figures are of high resolution (minimum 300 dpi) and in editable formats (e.g., TIFF, EPS, or MS Office files).
