Safety and Health for Medical Workers (SHMW)

1. Plagiarism Policy:

  • Authors must ensure that their submitted work is original and has not been previously published elsewhere.

  • The journal employs plagiarism detection software to screen submissions.

2. Authorship and Contributorship:

  • All authors listed on a manuscript must have made substantial contributions to the research and preparation of the manuscript.
  • Authorship should be based on significant contributions to the conception, design, data acquisition, analysis, interpretation, or drafting of the manuscript.
  • All authors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the work.

3. Conflicts of Interest:

  • Authors are required to disclose any financial or personal relationships that may influence the research or its interpretation.
  • Editors and reviewers must also declare any conflicts of interest that may affect their impartiality in evaluating manuscripts.

4. Peer Review Process:

  • Submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous peer review process, conducted by qualified experts in the field.
  • Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, impartiality, and absence of conflicts of interest.
  • Reviewers' identities are kept confidential, and their feedback is used to make editorial decisions.

5. Data Integrity and Reproducibility:

  • Authors must provide accurate and complete data, along with sufficient detail to allow others to replicate the study.
  • Manipulation or fabrication of data is strictly prohibited.
  • Raw data should be retained for a reasonable period after publication to allow for verification.

6. Corrections and Retractions:

  • Authors are responsible for promptly notifying the journal if errors or inaccuracies are discovered in their published work.
  • Corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern are issued as appropriate to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

7. Copyright and Licensing:

  • Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal a license to publish the manuscript under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).
  • Proper attribution of authorship is required upon publication.

8. Editorial Independence:

  • Editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific merit of the manuscript and its relevance to the journal's scope.
  • Editors and reviewers operate independently of any commercial or political influences.

9. Confidentiality:

  • Editors, reviewers, and journal staff must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and any associated correspondence.
  • Manuscripts are treated as privileged communications, and their contents are not disclosed to unauthorized individuals.

10. Diversity and Inclusion:

  • The journal is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of its operations, including authorship, editorial board composition, and reviewer selection.
  • Discrimination or bias based on race, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic is not tolerated.

11. Complaints and Appeals:
